Helpless (Poem)

My helpless eyes looked up at the sky

Asking to be taken away from this world;

the cruel world...

I had no one in my life anymore;

 except the generosity of people, which I couldn't handle anymore

There was too much formality between them and I

It was like sugarcoating non-fiction 

And at times, it would be hard to gaze into their eyes;

as some were already gazing into mine

I ended up blushing furiously and walked away from their sight

But those people past their limits 

They went from gazing to deliberately touching me

If I walked away, they grabbed me by the wrist and pulled me closer

I pleaded for them to stop, and they said that I needed a man

Then, the worst thing happened, which changed my life forever

What a sad, sad piece of writing. If true, it hurts like hell. if fiction, it shows great insight.

As your finely expressed words strongly infer,
these days, so many people do things for their own benefit. Forgive the cliche but, they speak with forked tongues. They lure, beckon, request, implore then turn like snakes, slithering away when you least expect it, For them, life is just a playground.. a game of tag without rules. And it hurts like ..

Interesting view point, almost a physiological study on the thought process of the invalid. Having to relay on others after a time becomes a mental burden to match the physical burden and that is when life stops being worth living because the person doesn't feel they are living. Nice depth, this gives one a lot to think about so it will linger in my mind for days, I love when something I read does that for me, Bravo! Clap! Clap! Clap! Clap! Clap!

Seems to me like a case of assault.. These kind of people disgust me.. your closing lines are somewhat confusing and seem incomplete to me, like you could add in more of what happened to change that life forever?
