I see you in them (Poem)

Dawn approaches

the sky darker than ever

and then they come...

Thousands of stars resting

illuminating the night sky

as they appear

I see you in them

smiling at me

from miles away

I make a wish

as you change

into a shooting star

Showing yourself

through it's image

lapping the sky

Going further away

to the universe

meeting other stars

Fading away to dawn

leaving me to wait for you;

once again

This is a lovely piece. There's very much more to the last line than it seems...how hard can it be...waiting for a loved one to return. Wonderful poem. Keep writing.
