Crime Complete

Inspired by a shocking news report about a gang rape I read a while ago.

 Dark night.  Not a star in the sky . Not a sound , not even a single movement, as if the whole nature stood still.

 As still as she had been standing for hours and hours. Numb from pain, numb from fear, numb from shame, wallowing in a pool of her own blood, bruises everywhere, face swollen from all the tears and all the punches. The punches that kept coming,  and coming , and coming . The screams muffled, "scream and you may die", "cream and you will die".

 And  then, the sweet release of nothing and the heartbreaking pain upon opening her eyes again only to realise that she hadn't died, she had merely fainted.

 Hours and hours she stood still as night turned into day, her heart turned into steel, dead eyes, revenge and hatred in the place of her once beautiful soul. Crime complete.

quite possibly the single most vile crime any one individual, and or, group of individuals might commit against another, forcibly and or against their will and without their consent.... the detail you include here are enough to create a series of harrowing images in your readers mind........
