Nightmares again

I'm afraid to close my eyes I don't wanna see I'm so afraid to know The darkness surounds me My heart beats quickly My breathing off beat My mind racing Calming down, an impossible feat My blood is boiling My body is aching My anger is rising My hands are shaking No words can describe Nothing can compare I lay awake Or I wake up there Pills are no help They merely trap me It's a fight to stay awake It's my only chance to be free This fight cannot be done  no one can win Though the anxiety will stay For it is a fight within

I'm sorry about your nightmares. I can't remember the last time I had a dream. I think I daydream soooo much during the day for my stories that when I go to sleep my brain is like...
"He finally fell asleep! I think I'll take a nap."

Anyway, really good portrayal of the fear you experience for your night terrors.
I used to have panic attacks a lot so I can relate sort of.

Im sorry about your nightmare's i get them to D:. I try not to sleep ¬.¬ but no you have to sleep and pills get shoved down you otherwise it's a pain in the f*****g a*s i tell you. and nice poem tho :)

Very interesting i like how you've switched to prose in this. Interesting how you capitolized some words and not others, you capitolized Or and Pill. Or is an intersting word to emphasize. Overall i really like this one. kudos!

Nightmares I think are the best way to show our emotions. They pick at us until we show it and then suddenly and abruptly we ake from them. They are a way a fears can manifest and genuinly make us afraid to sleep again. This is a great portrayal of this and I love how you share your experience with u very vividly.

Wow. I use to have nightmares like that when I took chemical balancers. Took two months after I got off them to stop the cycle of nightmares. Every now and again tho I have them. This poem is so real to those who have been through it. Thank you.

Oh my. This is my life right here. I take sleep medication because of insomnia, and I experience this every night. The nightmares. And then the pills don't let me wake up.
