Chapter 13 - Sefir's Task

Soleil was flying on air and at the dragon's back rode Sefir. He was headed for Mt. Parga to free one of Nerzhul's dragons. He was seeing the sky. He stood up on the back of Soleil.

 

"There it is.....Mt. Parga." Sefir said. "Soleil set me down on the peak..." he commanded.

 

Soleil set him down on the peak of Mt. Parga and Sefir unsummoned the dragon. He noticed that there was nothing here but a barren iceland. He looked around to look for signs of a dragon frozen nearby but he never found anything.

 

"This place is a dump......It's like Nerzhul is tricking me." Sefir said to himself.

 

He walked around looked around more. He went on to go down from  the mountain. He found a cave which he guessed that would lead to his destination.

 

"This would lead me there.....I hope"  Sefir thought to himself

 

He continued to walk to the inner area of the cave. there he saw 3 passage ways, only one leading to the frozen dragon.

 

"I don't like puzzles."  He thought. He made three shadow copies of himself and commanded them to explore the three areas. He instructed them that if it was a dead end the copies should return and if it lead somewhere push through with the travel.

 

As he thought he found the way. It was the passageway to the right. He reunited with his copies and they became one again. He went through the right passageway and found the frozen dragon. He looked at the place and he thought.

 

"I've been here before......when I was still guardian....." Sefir thought.

 

"Now, How do I unfreeze you?" He asked the chunk of Ice.

 

Before he could even do that something hit him from behind.

 

"Arghhhh!!" Sefir said as he hit one of the walls of the cave. "Now who the hell did that...?" he asked.

 

He looked and saw huge beast. It was no ordinary beast for it was a summoned beast. (a summoned beast is likely compared to Melusine and Soleil. Beasts that have masters.)

 

"Arexsus" Sefir said. "This is gonna be fun."

 

"You have disturbed the holy land......you shall die for doing so..." Arexsus said.

 

"Make my day..." Sefir said.

 

Sefir charged at Arexsus and attempted to slice one of arms, but Arexsus dodged the attempt and made spikes of ice fly towards his adversary. Sefir did not dodge the spikes of ice. He destroyed them all with one shot.

 

"Is that the best you can do?" Sefir asked with a smug face.

 

"Not by a long shot." Arexsus replied.

 

"Do yourself a favor.....Live your life the easy way." Sefir said.

 

He charged at Arexsus and struck him down with ease. Arexsus was sent flying towards an ice block and he was hurt real bad. Sefir was now walking close to him, savouring each step.

 

"So.....ready to die?" Sefir said as he walked towards Arexsus.

 

"Not....yet....I'm not...gonna die yet.....I swore to protect this place....with my life...." Arexsus said.

 

"And you shall not have died in vain...." Sefir said as he raised his sword to prepare the final strike.

 

As soon as he was about to strike him down, he sent out an ice wave and it sent Sefir flying to the wall of ice.

 

"Aghh!!!" Sefir exclaimed as he got up.

 

He noticed that there was an enormous amount of mana surrounding Arexsus. He also noticed that Arexsus was beginning to change form. He now had a new form which he calls Primarexsus.

 

He charged at Sefir and hit him with ease. After that, he hit him with a few more hits and then he hit him with his final move, "Primal Nova Frost" in which he sends a big wave of Ice to the target that results to killing him by the way of freezing him.

 

After he did that he now assumed that Sefir is dead, but then he heard the pile of ice suddenly move and rise up. Arexsus felt that there was an immense ammount of Shadow Mana. Then he knew that Sefir was alive.

 

"That all you got? That kinda tickled....." Sefir said

 

He now noticed that there were strange symbols on Sefir's face.

 

"Those marks.....no....it can't be......" Arexsus said.

 

"I told you don't mess with me...." Sefir said. He threw a look at him that made him immobile.

 

"What?! I can't move!!" Arexsus said.

 

"Now......you're gonna die....." Sefir said as he swung his blade at Arexsus. He slashed him and then Arexsus started to disintigrate.

 

"NOO!!!!!" Arexsus said as he was vanishing into thin air.

 

"Now where was I....oh yeah....I was gonna free the dragon." Sefir said.

 

He took out an orb and then he pointed it to the frozen dragon and the dragon started to be sucked inside the orb.

 

"That takes care of that.....well better get out of here." Sefir said.

 

He went to the peak of the mountain once again and summoned Soleil. Once that the dark dragon was summoned, he rode it and flew back to Nerzhul's Palace.

 

"Like I said.....I've been here before......now....I don't want to come back."  Sefir said.
