ACT 5 - Waiting for The Dark Sun.

"Good thing that it was only one assassin that noticed us." Kato said as he was hiding the body of the dead Sekigahara assassin.

"I wouldn't say that we are safe." Nami-Rei said.

"Why would you say that?" Ikeda asked with a confused tone

"They will be expecting a report from that assassin scout." Ieyasu said.

"Exactly....so that gives us the cue that we should set up the perimeter and our positions." Nami-Rei Added.

And they did. They followed what Gen. Kato and Nami-Rei said. Positioning the soldiers in all sides of the perimeter thus cornering Hideyoshi's units to the center of Sekigahara. And as for Nami-Rei's suggestion it was followed as well. 146 ninja in each General's troops except for Nami himself for he will be going with Ieyasu's soldiers.

Nami-Rei had a reason for distributing the ninja into different troops. His ninja brethren can sense the assassins thus giving an advantage to the rest of Ieyasu's soldiers.

"Hideyoshi....why did you rebel?" Nami-Rei asked

"He wanted Nobunaga's position...badly" Ieyasu said

"But wasn't he the designated successor to Nobunaga's throne?" Nami-Rei replied. "It was the entire reason why we ninja helped him in the battle Shizugatake, to unify Japan." he added.

"He sought only Nobunaga's power over our neighboring nations Nami. That's why his position as an emperor cannot happen." Ieyasu replied.

"Let me guess...You think that you are the right one in the seat of the emperor?" Nami-Rei asked.

"Actually, that was my initial thought. But it changed when you came with us to this war. After this battle Japan will still have no emperor so The people were hoping that you can take that place.." Ieyasu suggested.

"I can never be emperor Ieyasu.....for I will always be a shinobi...." Nami-Rei said.

"Why?" Ieyasu asked.

"In one of my visions....I saw you taking the title emperor...." Nami-Rei said.

"But you have the ideals, the wisdom and the right type of courage to rule as Japan's emperor." Ieyasu explained.

"I cannot be emperor. It is in the rule that only a samurai can be emperor....A shinobi cannot even if you say I have these Ideals or change the rule I won't accept the position, for that is not my destiny." Nami-Rei replied.

Ieyasu was still confused on what Nami-Rei said. Now the alliance was waiting for the night in order for them to attack Hideyoshi and his rebel army.

"They think they can destroy my defenses but they are wrong!!!!" Hideyoshi exclaimed.

Hideyoshi has recruited an army of his own. His soldiers consist of the soldiers from the west, his followers, his clan and the infamous Sekigahara assassins.

One of his war Generals, Konishi Yukinaga, approached him and said.

"Sir, our men our in place,"

"It seems that they are waiting for night fall" Ishida said..

Ishida Mtsunari, one of Hideyoshi's generals, was the tactician of the resistance and he was also the one who suggested to recruit the Sekigahara assassins.

"Your brother is blind Konishi" Ishida added.

"Yes. He fights for the very man who has betrayed us" Konishi Yukinaga. "Asano is blinded by the power of the empire."

"If the we win, Japan will be united again." Ishida said.

Mori Terumoto, only a lieutenant, commented on what Ishida just said.

"But still, we are not sure if we can."

"What do you mean?!" Hideyoshi finally said something.

"They have the ninja. Nami-Rei's clan that is." Mori added.

"That's why we hired the Sekigahara assassins." Ishida said.

"The scout report.....It never reached us...." Mori replied.

"What report?" Konishi asked.

"One of your Assassins saw the Empire army but he never returned..." Mori added

They were all silent when they heard this.
