Some Rights Are Dead Wrong

Some Rights Are Dead Wrong

A Poem by Marvin Thomas Cox-Flynn de Graham
"

This piece is one in which I attempt to honor and support Women's Rights, while pointing the hypocrisy of our American Culture the idiotically places animal life above that of a unborn child ...

The looming battle over abortion in the US - BBC News

So strange the time that finds in mind,

when a man is labeled a bigot in kind,

for speaking out against gay marriage,

yet this very same bigot if he be a she,

in aborting a child is now legally free,

to tear her child from womb to tomb ...

Living in an age of my rights declared,

speaking of what is most right and fair,

is it not at all odd that we should find,

a woman free to terminate her own child,

as shouts for gay marriages run so wild,

yet nary a plea is uttered for the unborn?

But Katie bar the door if it were found,

that I was torturing my own old hound,

for straight to jail I would certainly go ...

If an unborn child is not thus protected,

by the 8th amendment but now rejected,

what crime has a fetus ever committed?

Is an unborn child truly less defenseless,

innocent, dumb, and yes, less senseless,

than my old hound I like to kick around?

Is a fetus less human than my old hound?

Author's Note

Marvin Thomas Cox-Flynn de Graham
Author's Note: Author's Note: I stand as I Pro-Life Women's Rights Advocate who — is not against Gay Rights in any form or fashion, including that of Gay Marriage which I consider to be a purely personal matter totally separate from the controversial topic of abortion — firmly attests that a women must have the right of control over her own body, and must also be provided with all of the facts regarding the seldom spoken of consequences of choosing abortion in a world where abortion is, literally, a 7 Trillion dollar a year worldwide Big Business profiting off of the fetal tissue of aborted fetuses, while the naive woman is led to believe that her aborted child is long gone, dead, a thing of the past, when in fact, in many cases, the fetal tissue of her child may be kept alive and nurtured by Fetal Tissue Brokerage Companies for up to 20 years or more after her very private and personal choice was made in thinking that she has chosen to end the life of her child, when nothing could be further from the truth, as there does exist a market that profits off of peddling human flesh — the flesh of her aborted child... In addition it is my position of viewpoint and personal belief that adoption, on any given day, is a far more effective form of human life preservation than is an abortion that terminates human life... Yet, I admit, I attest, the choice is that of a Woman alone, for it is her body that belongs to no one else — to no government, to no society, and, most certainly, to no man...
