“White American” Thinking:
The Civil War & More As U.S. Orchestrated Coups

William,
As an American, I was born and raised right here in Sweetwater. Texas. My family moved all over this state during my upbringing. My point?
Never during all of my 69 years of living in Texas has another Human Being presented indisputable evidence that the Civil War was, in fact of reality, absolutely all about retaining and preserving the inhuman travesty of Slavery, an act referred to as Man-Stealing in the Christian Bible's Old Testament which was strictly forbidden to any and all Lawfully obedient and righteous servants of the "God" of Israel to engage in, profit from, or take any part in the capture and trafficking of Human Cargo.
Obviously, Christianity's "God" had slipped a notch or two in Divine Righteousness by the interpretive days of the NT and the handy conclusion that Jesus ended the Law, a man who was a Jew and was fully aware of the heinousness of Slavery beneath Roman Rule, who just magically so happened to terminate and put an indelible end to the very commanded Law that he, as "God(?)" had allegedly uttered in the first place, in rather favoring the notion of destroying the lives and welfare of all those he was said to have loved. Go figure the logic in that conclusion?
My personal assessment is that Christianity is fully and conclusively NOT anything about righteousness, but has been perversion-adopted as a totally inclusive means of promoting, protecting, and enacting "White Supremacy," when the fact is any KKK member will tell that Jesus, a Jew, was not "White." It's all a friggin' Racist Sham peddled to fools gullible enough to believe it.
Yep, as an EX-Preacher and an EX-Christian, I have departed from a daily meal of Bullshit, and have accepted that Organized-Religion (all three flavors of Lie Pie tainted Ice Cream) is a Hoax, a Con, A Sham, and a Scam.
With all of the above shared, your excellent article has served well to enlighten me on details of history that my schooling here in Texas, quite obviously and intentionally left out of Texas curriculum, and continues to do so to this very day.
In addition, your article brings to mind the question of the legality of Texas having entered into secession from the very Union which it had freely entered as a Territory prior to the Civil War.
To my knowledge, the only states that possessed any right, under given as specified circumstances, to secede from the Union were the original 13 colonies, as provided in the Treaty of Paris signed in 1783. It never occurs to us Texans, that our state of Texas was never even dreamed of at that time in history, and, therefore, had no legal right to leave a Union that we had freely chosen to join in the first place. But, then if we joined freely, why, then, could we not also leave freely? A good point that does not justify Slavery.
And, when confronted with reality, it does not sit well with me at all to consider that my State of Texas openly chose Slavery over remaining a part of the Union. What a piss poor excuse for secession that was.
I was brought up being fed the line that the Civil War was all about the Federal Government attempting to tell sovereign States what they could and could not do, rather than being about Slavery. Like most all Texans, and Southerners for that matter, I bought into that line, I guess because it sounded so damn good, even logical, unless you or someone in your ancestral family had ever been a Slave.
So, in rewriting this response, I have had a little more time to rethink the options the Southern States actually possessed had they wished to base their claims purely upon Federal interference in their affairs, and not solely upon Slavery.
My personal conclusion, therefore? Rather than request financial aid from the Union in order to totally economically restructure the South as righteous means to bring an end to the injustice of Slavery, the seceding States chose to retain that injustice for the sake of preserving an inhumane institution in the name of the glory and nobility of an economy totally dependent upon Human Misery in order to preserve and protect the "White-South." I say that to the shame of the entire South, including my State of Texas.
I can see no reason as to why the Union would not have offered such assistance, if asked or if the South had ever requested such assistance, but we shall never know the answer to that question.
As for the right or justification for any state choosing to leave the Union on a basis purely beyond any retaining of Slavery as their impure motive?
I do think the North, the Union, was more devoted to keeping the seceding States from leaving the Union as part of that developing "White Supremacy-Egoism” to later be defined as Manifest Destiny, than it was about enacting Freedom of States to come and go from a good and flawless Union which could have had access of diplomacy and friendly alliance with any state that chose to no longer be a part of that alleged as Great Ideal promoted as The United States of America.
Curiously: If a State freely joined the Union, wherein lies the logic that such States could not also freely leave, unless our Federal Government operates in a similar fashion as does the Mafia?
Thus, I have pondered as to why Mr. Lincoln did not think to consider such a friendly secession of offering full grant of foreign aid to a seceding South " as a Confederacy of Sovereign States (and they were said to be Sovereign States before and up to said secession) that had freely chosen to leave the Great Ideal " on the specified as direct condition that such aid would be based upon the Confederacy's agreement to totally abolish Slavery of any kind, whatsoever, immediately, in return for the North's goodwill of no hard feelings or ill will of supporting a new and fledgling nation reminiscent of that very America that had freely chosen to secede and depart from England in 1776. What’s good for the goose is good for the gander?
Slavery could have been abolished in the South much sooner, and countless American lives of all complexions could have been saved with a bit of remembrance on both sides of what it tastes like and feels like to be Free, as a sad reality "White Americans" so easily gloss over in handiest fashion.
And yet, it is our America that interferes in the affairs of other nations with proclamations of, "The Right Of Self-Determination." Now that line is a sure as s**t Sham!
All too apparently, "The Right Of Self-Determination." did not apply to Native AMERICANS, nor to African-AMERICANS brought to this land forcibly as bought-n-bartered Slaves, and also did not apply to the Kingdom of the Hawaiian Islands which was a sovereign Kingdom Nation until the U.S. invaded those sovereign islands in carrying out the first of so many plotted and conspired coups against the governments of other nations, and their peoples by these United States of America.
What a friggin’ farce! To date, our nation is one which wrongs and betrays other nations.
The South was damn sure wrong. And the North far from being pristine in correctness of right. And who was stuck in the middle of an argument betwixt fools? African-AMERICAN Slaves who simply wanted a taste of that Freedom which the North and the South possessed on a daily living out their lives basis: "The Right Of Self-Determination."
