I have an Obsession

A poem about the only thing I love

I have an obsession.

It weighed 9 pounds and 13 ounces.

Came into my life 17 years ago.

I still can't take my eyes off of it.

There are days I sit and stare for hours.

Until the sun rises and falls.

I love this obsession

i won't give it up

It is a drug.

One that I love

I don't know how to let it go.

I cant. i mustnt. i wont

For with this obsession follows a world of dreams hope and faith.
