summer night

summer night

A Poem by Derek McEntire

summer night

Just another summer night

moon is out shinning bright

empty sidewalks, empty streets

empty park bench, empty seats

just another summer night.

crickets churp, insects fly

stars are out, up so high

just another summer night

warm breez fills the air

soon the next day will be there

just another summer night.
