Though the "tick tock"s and "tock ticks" got a little repetitive, I think you should keeep it that way because it really gives flavor and the sense of urgency to the poem. Time really can be an enemy or an ally. Most of the time, we hate time, but, truly, we cannot live without it as you said. Nice work!

Time is always our enemy or friend. From going to work to going to school or even for dating. We find out that we are slaves of time. When the time is up that is when we end. With the end comes a new beginning. An unknown beginning. This is my puzzle. Thanks for sharing this wonderful piece!
