Friendship

One important thing you should learn to do in your life, is to value friendship. And keep your friends close.

Friend, how could I repay you?

You've done so much for me.

You were there when I cried.

You were there when i sighed

You cheered me up when i was down.

And bailed me out of deep trouble.

You devoted your time listening to my problems,

and I've been a selfish jerk,

and didn't return the favor.

Please forgive me,

for now I see.

What you've done for me.

So tell me oh loyal friend,

how can I return the favor?

Friends...without them, where would be? Too often we take them for granted. The way to repay your friend is to be there emotionally for him/her the same way he/she was for you. You might also want to send a copy of this poem to your friend. Beautifully written. Lydi**
