If you ever lied
About family or friends
If you told that lie time and again
But you never told the truth
To the people you had lied to …
It is time to make amends.

If you've hurt
family or friends
And you saw the agony in them
How their lives forever changed
But you chose to ignore their pain …
It is time to make amends.

Whether you tend to
Shower your graces on others
Or to pray to God for redemption
Because you are good…  Just do the math!
Don't ignore your painful wrath
Wake up my friend … and make amends!

Uncover the lies, relieve the hurt
Be brave before it's too late
Tell the truth … let it be!
Make amends!
And you'll be
Forever Free!
