Angles flutter
beyond the skies,
close to God
beyond the stars.

Do they feel
the awe as we?

Angels flutter
down to earth below,
carrying God’s love
on the tips of their wings.

Do we feel
the awe, we do not see?

Angels flutter
close to the flames,
protecting us humans
from deception and pain.

Do we feel
the awe in that desperate hour?

Angels flutter
blessed from above,
leading us closer
to God’s love.

Do we feel
the awe in a Love unseen?
