Sleigh Bells Ring

 

 

Sleigh bells ring on Christmas Night
Twinkling stars are shinning bright
Children lay awake pretending to sleep
Hoping to catch Santa not making a peep


Quietly listening in their beds
Covers pulled up over their heads
For sleigh bells on the crisp night air
Reindeer flying way up there


Sun flows through the window pane
Tried to stay awake in vain
Santa smiles and sends good cheer
Try to catch me again next year
