Twisty Tree MagicA Poem by Nancy Lee Shrader100 Word Challenge
Twisty Tree Magic Like twisty trees in Irish lore Leprechauns underneath them snore Holding tight to pots so old Magical tale mystically told Moher Cliffs by crystal sea Tweed clad man keeps watching me Hazing mist dark shadowed sinister form Spoke about Dublin before yesterday’s storm Glenvegh, sunlit rainy day Red deer crossed our path along Shallots Way Staring into my soul Irishmen’s’ myth display days of ole Rainbows stretched across bluish sky Mind’s ear heard a leprechaun cry You’ll never discover this pot I hold Hidden with magic unspoken, untold Rainbow’s end no one can find Search until your eyes go blind © 2008 Nancy Lee ShraderReviews
