Ambition in life

 

Set goals and find solutions

Be all I can be

 

My dreams in this life

Began with good grades in school

Often came up short

 

 

Next I chose a mate

Must be kind hearted and true

Far surpassed my goal

 

 

Live my faith in God

Always go to God in prayer

Down on bended knee

 

 

Walk the narrow road

Instill faith in my children

Hear their bedside prayers

 

Be a good mother

And raise three happy children

Counting my blessings

 

 

I did my job well

With two sons and one daughter

Heart bursting with pride

 

Enjoy golden years

My grandchildren, count them three

Grandmother’s delight

 

 

Clear my clouded mind

An author in the process

Have pride in my work

 

Tell others of God

A good and faithful servant

Fill my crown with jewels

 

Live a godly life

Be reconciled in glory

Join the angles' choir

 

Sing praises to God

With all my loved ones and friends

Have eternal life

 

 

My purpose fulfilled

I feel Jesus in my heart

Hand and hand we’ll walk
