Haiku Happy Valentine's DayA Poem by Nancy Lee Shrader
Haiku Happy Valentine’s Day Cherubs shoot arrows Their aim, everlasting love Hearts feel loves sweet sting
Heart shaped chocolates Held behind a young man’s back Bouquet of flowers
Capture loves moment Ecstasy swirling the mind Hearts are intertwined
Envelope the heart Wrapped up in chocolate delights Velvety kisses
Colored candy hearts Speaking of valentine love Do you love me too?
Evening candle glows A night of wine and roses Whisper love’s sweet sigh
Day is for lovers On February fourteen Be my valentine
One day of the year Lover’s hearts take flight Give valentine cards
Shot from bows of love Arrow pierced their heartstrings Boy and girl kiss
Hear the call, Go Red A happy valentine’s day For women’s heart health
Celebrate the day All women of every race With a healthy heart With a healthy heart More valentine days to come A longer future
Now, hear ye, hear ye To all women everywhere Take care of your hearts
