Creation story

World created in six days

God said it is good

 

 

God created man

Man created from the dust

Eve from Adam’s rib

 

 

Garden of Eden

Adam and Eve’s garden home

They walked with God

 

 

Serpent beguiled Eve

Adam joined her in her sin

They ate from the tree

 

 

God put them outside

No longer their garden home

Was God’s punishment

 

 

Two sons were given

Jealous Cain killed his brother

God sent Cain away

 

 

 

Where is thy brother

God asked of Cain, but he lied

Mark set on his face

 

 

Cain left to wander

Banished from his family

In the land of Nod

 

 

 

Eve gave birth to Seth

Seth married and sons were born

From Seth came Noah

 

 

Noah walked with God

God saw evil in men’s hearts

Noah, build an ark

 

 

Measurements I give

Two by two of every sort

Bring into the ark

 

 

 

I will destroy

It will rain for forty days

And for forty nights

 

 

 

And the rains poured down

Noah and family were saved

And God closed the door

 

 

Sun peaked through the clouds

Rains stopped after forty days

Water must recede

 

 

Raven was sent forth

Then Noah sent forth a dove

She brought back a leaf

 

 

On Mount Ararat

Noah’s family left the ark

To start a new life

 

 

Tower of Babel

Nimrod defied the Lord God

Language was confused

 

 

Cities were sinful

Lot and his family escaped

As the city fell

 

 

 

God said don't look back

Lot's wife a pillar of salk

Because she looked back

 

 

Abram walked with God

Abraham is your new name

His wife was barren

 

 

God promised a child

Hagar gave birth to Ishmael

Sarah’s son would reign

 

 

Ishmael sent away

He becomes a great nation

Of Abraham’s sons

 

 

 

Abraham obeyed

Isaac now his only son

He’ll soon be tested

 

 

God called Abraham

Told him, sacrifice your son

It is my command

 

 

Abraham obeyed

Laid Isaac on the altar

Then he raised his knife

 

 

God called Abraham

Lay not thy hand on thy son

You have obeyed me

 

 

Isaac will be blessed

Sons like the stars in the sky

Because you obeyed

 

 

Your descendent blessed

He will be my only Son

I will spare him not

 

 

Messiah of God

Sacrificed for all mankind

Salvation for all
