After the Rain

 

Sunshine

 

Streaking through the clouds

 

After the rain has found its rest

 

Golden rays

God dries up stormy reminders

Leaves a promise in the sky

Rainbow

The simplicity in this is what I think makes it enjoyable. The rhythm is good and the flow of text is seamless. What seems a little off to me is the "leaves." The first three lines seem to go together as one continuous thought, while the last three seems to be cut into two thoughts with "leaves." I think maybe changing it to "leaving" would connect it as one thought, like the first three lines. But other than that tiny thing, I think this is pretty well written and a pleasant and sweet read.
I also enjoy how the text goes from blue (rain) to end with a rainbow. Ha ha, awesome.
