Windy In Santa AnaA Poem by N.A.
The air smells happy and sad
at the same time It’s been too windy I don’t get to self destruct I don’t hate people but they like to crash their cars into me the wind blows south It’s angry and loud It rebels using trees as lips to whistle “it’s here” why do I need passion or love? I have the public library and soap suds People say stupid things I’m not a people I don’t get to self destruct I just get stuck It was a pain deep in my sternum doesn’t make a difference talking about it My memories get all mixed up My dreams feel so real shutting up Break it up I don’t get to self destruct I’ll be dead before I’m conscious © 2013 N.A. |
