The Creature

       I`t was about 11:45 on Friday night, and I was now walking out the front doors of Mr. Joe`s restaurant and bar. I had the worst headache ever i could`nt wait to reach home and just lie down on my bed.When I looked at the time it was 10 minutes to 12 so I decided to take a short cut through the woods. As I was walking, I heard a strange noise come from behind me,so I turned around to see what it was,but there was nothing there but the old oak trees.So I continued to walk,drifting from side to side as I did. I was almost to the end of the woods when I heard that strange noise again,this time I did`nt  turn around I quickly slipped behind a tree and waited to see what it was. 

       I waited for at least 15 minutes but still there was nothing there. As I was about to get up, I heard a growling sound come from the tree behind me, I felt a sudden chill run down my back, hoping it was just a dog I got up and leaned a little ways to the side to see what it was...what I saw was the most terrifying thing ever.The creature had 8 legs and stood on two of them,it looked as though it had no eyes but exceptional sense of smell,and I think what it smelt was the fries and jerk chicken I had back at the restaurant.

       The thing what ever it was, looked as though it was hungry, I decided it was time to get out of here so I grabbed a nearby rock and throw it across from where I hid, hoping the creature would here it and divert from where I was. It worked, as the thing heard the noise it began to give off a sudden bright green glow which was so bright it almost blinded me, but there was no time for that I made a dash for the end of the woods.                                                      I knew the moment I began running that it heard me course I saw the shadow on the trees coming straight at me,I did`nt stop I continued to run straight for the road ahead.As I ran out into the street I heard a sudden horn and I spun around.There was a car heading at me, so I quickly jumped out the way and on to the other side of the road.When I looked around the car was gone and so was the creature.
