The Long Journey

The long journey home is the one I call my own.

The roaring thunder and screeching winds,

are the beat of my heart that is slowly caving in.

No more thoughts, no more sadness,

no more waking up at midnight, and rarely any madness.

Children aren't crying, the old and sick aren't dying.

No more food chain, no more murderers, 

no more parasites only mutualism. 

Our spirits stay within the earth atmosphere,

getting close to leaving and there isn't anything to fear.

The journey is long, you will feel weak,

but please don't stop, we will hit our peak.
