Idea

This is always frustrating.

I had a great idea 

But I didn't write it down 

I was simply just too tired 

I hope you understand

Now I have forgotten

What my idea was.

 

Maybe it was dragons, 

Or possibly the mountains 

Perhaps it was a metaphor, 

Or even an analogy

It could have been a poem, 

It could have been a story 

But I will never know, 

Because I didn't write it down.
