Internal Silence

Internal Silence

A Poem by Neilp
"

Meeting the Divine in silence.

"

I do not climb to meet You.
I stop.
And find You already here.

I loosen my grip on thought,

not pushing it away,
not following its voice
letting each one pass
like breath through an open door.

Then nothing is required.
No word.
No image.
No effort to remain.

Only this
a quiet resting
where I am with You
and You are with me,
before anything is said.
