Awakening.A Poem by Desert RoseGlowing light of the Moon that Eve October brought a pair to weave Over simple passions & wine Distant bodies, two souls entwine Notwithstanding Circumstances In their trysts they found solaces Growing steady, unwavering Heed the calls for awakening The flames thru days have burned & turned Scorched the nights & secretly yearned As that bonfire must be contained Resting cinders in ashes tamed And Wind, only time will endow Hope of a wildfire, drift off now © 2016 Desert RoseAuthor's Note
