i can take it
just tell me
whatever it is
i can take it
i said
looking into his eyes
pale blue
filled with tears
leaking over the lids
i can take it
he looked at me
once
his eyes locked on mine
"i cant"
he said
before he walked away
i didnt chase him
i couldnt
something wouldnt let me
i watched him get smaller
tears falling down my face
breath gone from my lungs
whatever it was
he should have told me
beacuse after that day
i never saw him again
