Cloaked CosmosA Story by neurostar burnsCertainly this subject has been of interest for humans a long time and is not yet resolved. Clues are found on early civilizations' literature. How and from what did the cosmos first come about. As Sean Carroll and Jennifer Chen concluded in 2004, "The boundary conditions of the universe on ultra-large scales are unlikely to resemble simple Robertson-Walker geometries in any way. Indeed, the cacophony of matter and radiation in our observable patch of universe appears in this picture as a mere byproduct of the relentless evolution of the larger spacetime toward states of higher entropy. Stars and galaxies...have found a use other than that for which they originally developed by evolution." One, modern response, is that it sparked, e.g. big bang, Higgs bang followed by a (hot) inflation. Which describes a lot of the history of material presence. However, the cosmos is also described as having a kind of enveloping but expandable shell. The question then behooves us, upon what or what does the cosmos expand into? What is that nature? A readily, reasonable response is not fully developed, yet. [Keep in mind that universes might not "mature" at all. They collapse back into "something" or simply disintegrate.] From what? Is the cosmos cloaked in some deeper nature we haven't detected which holds the contents that came forthwith? It is said that we only see the "observable universe", implying there could be something more beyond that. (Thought the cosmos is transparent after escaping the "dark ages"). It is claimed that the (hot) inflation/burst of repulsive energy made the contents of the cosmos arrange equidistant form each other despite its energy and configuration. That still may not explain the presence and natures within and implies a one time only event. Another proposal says the origin of the cosmos we live in is not quite as specific. Before our cosmos came about, there is a perpetual, dark, unseen nature, like a pool possibly dimensionless, which contains the most basic elements in kind of a suspension. Any congealing is influenced by energy. On occasion, this congeals enough so elements come together and combine, (maybe as a sea of virtual particles or the like) bringing about the cosmos, but not necessarily as a spark, or one could develop after the fact. (But it is said that information cannot be created or destroyed.) So, it is not necessarily sequestered in some tiny spot, it is likely effusive. This may allow for a more amenable explanation of altering of natures without sounding like a fixed, immutable pattern. Further! This "bank" does not exhaust or need to "bounce". It remains and continues, regardless of other developments if any. While some scientists say that developments in the universe's materials seem to arise from gaseous natures which congeal, The "bank" retains elements which may later be infused (or tapped) and so more material is available for evolution, not having to repeat an arduous process of fully recreating to add in materials to the current cosmos. It may be that our universe exists amidst the "bank" of primeval elements and hence access between them is not removed. One does not have to worry about what predicates what to produce more material. The elements are already available and may be distributed effusively (likely are around for more than 16 billion years). This way may strike one as being more manageable toward comprehension.
