What 'brain'?A Story by neurostar burnsPerhaps, with our 'law of association', our emphasis of organisms having a cranium and brain is overhyped. It is found that some of the cellular species do operate and survive quite well without the development of any cranium and brain. They are plentiful, not scarce. It seems these brainless organisms simply process their environment. It may make one wonder if our bias for a brain has influenced developments of computer circuitry to imitate us rather than possibly develop simpler channels.
