Mars life?

Reports say the data of Perseverance rover on Mars at a major site on a rock, from a year ago, shows detail of stains on the rock which likely hold evidence of organic chemicals that are found with living organisms.  To note, the specimen  being tagged is of ancient times. There are two important biochemical signs that point to viability.

An attempt bring back a sample would be of first priority so the biochemicals could be examined closely for verification. The team has spent a year since its first encounter to ascertain it could be a viable biochemical source not of another source. Stay tuned.

An addition, there is strong evidence, from press release, of metal compound detected also at the site, now that detection instruments are reviewed.

There is speculation that perhaps the Chinese rover could retrieve and bring back to Earth some of the sample(s) to be gone over.
