You love someone other
But here I am instead of your misses
More than a friend, less than a love
You kiss me with sandpaper lips
Words sweet like sugar
Hands on my hips
But to you I'm nothing more than a hooker
You handle me rough
But you tell me nice things
Life is so tough
Taking off all my fake rings
You kiss my soft skin with sandpaper lips
Maybe I love you and maybe I don't
You kiss me and dip
Even if I love you, you won't

What a beautiful, sad poem. The way you use repetition and variation gives it an almost haunting quality, and the way the entire thing flows fluidly from one line to the next makes it read like a single, sorrowful call.

The only line I'm struggling with is "but to you I'm nothing more than a hooker" - not because there's anything wrong with the content of the line, but it takes so long to say/read that it interrupts the flow a little.
