WaitingA Poem by New TheoryWaiting for someone, who may never come back but still you hope.So what if it is a day, it is still darkness behind the charcoal clouds Slowly dispersing, offering a false ray of hope Marred by the wind gushing in faster, stronger bringing with it another thunderstorm More clouds, more darkness, more sadness It is a cold, wet day It drizzles and gushes for hours Until the last drops get their chance To kiss the love drenched earth alas The sky has cleared, blue visibile. Sun however is behind the distant hill. Maybe I will have to wait through the night. Another long unsure wait, hoping for its sight. ![]() © 2014 New TheoryAuthor's Note
