writing poetry

why write poetry i have been asked

do you really think you have any talent, are you any good

no i say, i have no talent but it gets the feelings out

it stops the sadness from pulling me down

 

i write so i can get up in the morning

and now i have hope for the future

i know i can go on and i am strong

 

i let the darkness pull me down

it took me to a very bad place

but i am back now, and i know i will go on

and happiness will come back to me in time

 

so i will go on writing to get the feelings out
