There are times when I can't stop from writing and times when I end up writing none. I guess that's pretty normal. Most published writers that I know of confessed of having those blank moments. :)

Actually you look like you're doing just fine with this writing, Amanda. :) We all lose inspiration from time to time.

Understand that success is 90% inspiration and 10% perspiration. In order to succeed you have to take things one day at a time. Don't do it all at once. Look up, look out the window. Relax.

For it is when the mind is truly relaxed and comfortable does all the writing of the heart, mind, and spirit come.

I think your 5 – 7 – 5 – 7 – 7 count is off, but I've not written that many tankas myself...still a good song.
