Am I Crazy?

Just a random thought at 12am

Am I crazy to love you?

To pour my heart into something that might not work?

Am I crazy to hope it doesn't so I don't get hurt?

To know there is someone out there who does love me?

Am I crazy to want you? 

To want to be near you and knowing it can never be?

Am I crazy to hope I never know your touch so I can't long for it?

To know what is reality must stay in fantasy?

Am I crazy to need you?

To need your support and love knowing sometimes I don't deserve it 

Am I crazy to long for a friend and a lover?

To want someone to call my own even if just for a fleeting second 

Just tell me this 

Am I crazy?

Am I crazy to want, need, and love you?

Or am I just wishing for a dream I know won't come true?
