Echo

Echo

A Poem by Nick Fatum

.. the magical haze of roadside flowers

spreads all its petals towards to the warmth..

the stream in the eyes of the beasts was reflected

of gentle silver drops, light affectionate hands...

Author's Note

Nick Fatum
The main point in conveying fragile harmony and purity (of pristine nature) is a craving for light and life: the image of flowers opening their petals to warmth symbolizes the instinctive desire of all living things for the source of life and joy. the unity of existence: the reflection of the stream in the eyes of the animals highlights the inextricable link between the fauna and the surrounding world. Nature acts as a single mirror here. tenderness and safety: using the words "gentle silver drops" and "gentle hands" creates an atmosphere of peace and protection. This is a rare moment of "bright" existentialism for the author, where the world is perceived not as a hostile void, but as a living, feeling space. the illusory nature of the moment: Given the general context of creativity (the concept of "fatal extremity"), this natural idyll is often interpreted as a fleeting vision or memory that emphasizes the value of the current moment in the face of inevitable decay.

Looked at the image, thought a firefly genus! Tis such a magical photo; a lone but beautiful moment, meant to create calm and a long, long pause. As a garden designer, I encourage wild areas in gardens, not straight Manmade lines. We were allotted a wild world, that's how it should be, untouched (unless dangerous). The scene you show is an inspiration!

Really thank you Lisa!
This poem carries a soft, dreamlike quality, where nature is both vivid and elusive, unfolding in fragments of light and motion. The use of ellipses gives the lines a fluid, almost drifting rhythm, much like thoughts that hover in the air before settling, or like a pause that allows the reader to breathe within the moment. A true pleasure. 🕊️

A strange and sad feeling of a beautiful and fragile world passing through you like sand through your fingers and disappearing into time irrevocably, where ordinary words are missing and only wonderful mystical associations combined with the image of a child sleeping in endless deep space.. There're no words, Nick! Thank you!

A beautiful figurative and associative poem and a really wonderful image at the bottom, judging by the link, is also yours as an artist of digital art - such a diverse and unique work, congratulations!
