amazingly a better world is not what i want

the moon shines down
peaking through the clouds
smiling at a sleeping world
a world that is good
a world with out war
a world where i would like to live

i want to live in a world with out saddness
a world where there is no pain
no hate
no war
no violence
no vainity
a world filled with peace

but a world like that would be boring
with the way we are today
people live off of the lastest and vainest news
as a country we need the trashy news
and the depressing events

death is always on the news
it always on my mind
imbedded into the brains of our children
sickness is just around the corner
waiting, lurking for a new victem

a world filled with peace would be great
but realisticly it could never happen.
