We all Cry

First one is a poem about toxic masculinity, assuming or deeming it unnatural for men to cry the second one is about crying, how one should, kind of a sequel, maybe more a prequel

Tears are seen

from women

from children

from the old

from the meek

from those who are weak

but men?

but me?

If we cry, we are weak

we aren't weak, 

we aren't old

we cant be so bold

as society seeks

for men to be bleak

empty

only muscles and strength

but in the tenth

the tenth attempt

in the endless repetitiveness

 we cry

as do you

as do we

we all cry

we all cry

Why arent we allowed to cry

why do we have to "man up"

 why do we have to stand?

Why cant we all agree that we are a band

of old

of weak

the tired

the meak

the bold

the young

the middle

the men

the woman

The people

We are people

we are human

we all cry

and thats okay

We all must cry

we could never fly

if the clouds were filled with water

drowning in an endless rain

because all there was

was pain

never let out

never seen

all left inside

building and building

even the strong cry

even the weak cry

even the villain cries out as they fall

We all cry

and thats okay

you dont have to agree

you dont have to speak

just accept

that we all cry

we ALL cry

You dont have to be smart

to know your fears

for a helping hand

the world may be cruel

but nice people always meet

with the fool

with the solemn

with those who have fallen

they keep their hands out

for the tears

and let it 

wash in

the tears

they began to fall out

let them catch it

let the support

let them gather with their cohorts

though it may never be who you expect

accept it

for the strange and oddly

are ever so fondly 

of those who have been cast

thank you, its supposed to represent breathing in and breathing out, but when you cant stop crying. Think of that moment when you feel like a mess and are breaking down. instead of breathing in and out, you cry and let the tears go out, then come back to reality for a bit or cry in, make it internal, before letting it out again.
