writing based on the first line that I thought of back in middle school

I'm drowning in the water I pushed myself into

I purposefully sink deeper than ever before

The water fills my lungs 

as I breathe in life no more

I don't fight

I don't flail

staying in the deep until my life fails

As my eyes close

as my thoughts end
My body longs for more time

so I reascend
