self-esteem

when your self-esteem is gone

you lose yourself

you lose all emotion

you try to fight it

but it has a tight hold on you

so never lose emotion like I did

its not fun

no one will talk to you as much and you become 

something worse than an emotionless person

Don't be sad, we all have times when we fight with that darkness we're writers, its pretty much our curse that comes along with our gift. But each writer finds not only themselves and who they are but each person's unique style out of this fight with the mind. Keep your head up young one and don't forget that you are a writer and that is who you are, darkness will never go away u must keep fighting. Your poem was great :) I look forward to more of your work. And wipe your tears away wolf your stronger then that. Hope that helps.

Sorry I havn't been around a while, I too am sad, my wordsmith brain had been keeping me awake at night so I turned it off and it took the huff and has permanently left to no avail and never returned, I lol by now and then and read some poems of friends hoping it might spark and ignite my poetry heart but as of yet nothing is being created in the imagination of my mind to help me write a Rhyme !
