I am fascinated with the concept of fate. And this one - well, describes what fate means in the form of poetry.

Under The Same Sky

Isn’t it fascinating
How all of us are under the same sky?
And yet amongst all of us,
The only one I found my comfort in is you.

Isn’t it amazing
How all of us are under the same sky?
And yet, to the rest, I bid goodbye
For the only one I found my courage is in you.

We’re all under the same sky
But I only see you in my life
You and I were kept far apart
So that we could find each other with our hearts.

Thinking we’re running out of time,
Constantly questioning if we would ever meet in our lives
And here you are, I still couldn’t believe
And now we stand, closer than ever,
With not one intention to leave

Isn’t it beautifully designed?
How all of us are under the same sky
And yet, amongst all of us,
Nothing has changed, nothing is new
For the only one I’d come home to is to you.
