F E E L I N G SA Poem by Nisha M.Ever felt this way before?
Too much. Overwhelmed. Messy. Tangled. Scattered. Disoriented. Complex. She was trapped. An unsolved mystery. An unheard-of labyrinth. She was drowning. Flooded by irrationality. There was no logic; No common sense. She was walking on a thin line; Hanging on a frayed thread Pleading for liberation She wanted to be saved To be free from herself But even in her dreams They come haunting her Clouding her with tomorrow’s fear She was helpless Unable to transfer the pain Unable to dispose of it If misery truly loves company Then why was she suffering by herself? She was on the road to nowhere Alone, drowning, trapped, In something she didn’t even understand. It was surely a curse Her feelings were a curse.
