A Moment of Eternity

A stanza from a longer piece I wrote for a friend.

 

In this destined encounter,

I took a gentle step towards you,

As my heart explodes silently

And somehow, you felt it too.

The sweetness of euphoria,

When your eyes found mine,

The tenderness from your gaze

Gradually entering my body,

As our hearts started to bind

And our lines cross and intertwine

I must have reached you.
