Spiral notebook. Thoughts on spinning.A Story by nomoonteaJust more musing about the Art of telling stories.
You know, Araknea was deep into textile Arts. I'm not sure if she knit or crocheted, but I'm sure she wove. Just like some of us spin a yarn or write a text, Arknea was a weaver and she believed she was the best. She took to bragging and playing big shot saying her work was more beautiful than anyone's, and even the Goddess Athena's work was trivial compared to hers. Well. When Athena got wind of this she simply turned Arakne into a spider. The Native Americans have Grandmother spiderr woman who weaves webs. She tells story's to the kids and she's full of wisdom. That's what they call the Oral Tradition and that's when the woman wove the Narrative.
Even Charlotte had a web. So, in Charlotte's name I weave. God bless we spider women and may the Goddess Athena remind us to be brave. And humble and just keep telling our stories. Then, I thought how often our voices are muffled. And how often our light is dimmed. I thought of that sweet kids song the Christians teach their babies. This little light of mine. I'm gonna let it shine. And John Lennon said, "And we all shine on. © 2025 nomoonteaAuthor's Note
