Giants of Science

Part of a series of multilimericks on a set theme. I have coined them "Clemericks" A Clerihew in Limerick form.

  When that famed apple fell on his head

Isaac Newton really saw red

So he petulantly

Carved rude words on that tree. 

"Now that's caused by Graffiti", he said

In theoretical physics, said Einstein
It’s sometimes essential a fine line
Must be drawn when expounding
Any new or astounding
Formulae, if your brain isn’t like mine.

“To make things sterile”, said Pasteur
Boiling them kills bacteria faster.
But if you make milk too hot
It gets a skin on the top 
And makes Bechamel Sauce a disaster.

The theories of Sigmund Freud
Always make me very annoyed
For he always connects
Every instinct with sex.
So I don’t know which one to avoid.

The Italian Guglielmo Marconi
Said “I’m inventing this thing - Tele-phony”
But, Bell beat him, you see
And called it Tel-eph-ony,
(And made a fortune for Nokia and Sony.)

It seems that Darwin’s famed publication
On evolution, caused much condemnation
From the all-powerful Church
Who claimed his heinous research
Had defied all their laws of Creation.

Something very chromatic you write in few poetic words which further reminding me my school/college-days since everything was so young & full of passion, & of course, so ripe to be understood the value of things around but as time went on, everything goes lost somewhere in the castle of memories - the subjects that i read in very gone-days. Very deep and interesting poetry you pen'd up. Certainly, it's one of my fav., afterall, it's kinda fascinating reading (Worth-reading-write). Great job. Looking forward to reading your stuffs!
