Frigid Temperatures

I got an email from our college,

I felt as if it spoke of us

When we were looking forward

to the winter months.

It sounded like a firm response 

I am incapable to give

to your propensity

To take me and to leave

me on the go

And wanting me

to act like I forgot.

"Make sure all your windows

are completely closed

We also ask that if you see

a window open,

please close it 

so the buildings can stay warm

during this cold front.
