B***hA Poem by Nadia ZahranAs I long to puncture your skin with every vital nail I have My self-hatred grows Temporarily feeding off my blood Leeching into my brain My insanity livens as frustration grows In anticipation of something new Anything Completely misinterpreted Abusing this hatred It’s so perfectly meticulous how I can’t breathe Selectively claustrophobic in my being But, never will be To articulate what it feels like to detest something so harmlessly So immensely that it takes over your life You wonder if I can feel this pain So close Proximity Preciseness Congruity It all falls short to a mere pseudo feeling that was never there Embalmed in my mind is that ferocity You’re out of luck © 2017 Nadia Zahran |
