Twilight's Tango

Twilight's Tango

A Poem by Odin Roark
"

To lift ourselves beyond the mundane. To picture our tempest awaiting.

"
Twilight’s Tango
           by Odin Roark

Who doesn’t romanticize?

When movement
Form
Sounds beyond the mundane
Raise our spirits
Begging our inner response

Such might be the tango of hearts
Staunch direction of will
Arrowing one’s body
Toward a passionate turn

Ah

To hold the twosome of romance
As one
To sense the species’ storm
The taking of a foundation
The floor of pronouncement
One’s synchronous instinct
Needing to be explosive
Just once

Such is the dreaming
As red hot visualization
Sets to the west
And we wish
We dream
We see ourselves
As Twilight’s Tango
