The Present

A Poem by Stephen

There is a past and future
But in the present we dwell
For it’s by the present
We know them so well

For neither past nor future
Really exist but in our head
For the past is gone
And the future lies ahead

Therefore by the past
Do we live in the now
The present molds our future
Filling the mold, the past shows us how

This is a great poem, and very accurate too. I particularly love the last stanza, the wording of it is excellent.
