Arpeggio

Shapes that become the lyre
carry wafted whisperings
along the wind afloat
Where dost thou sing deepest
loud, where only You can hear
deep within the caverns

I follow, listening, pour out
my own song, blending
rhythms we set in string
Joyous, these progressions
create music, only hinted in dream
Realities singing, strum every string

Dost thou resonate deep music
where our vibrations float heavens
Hast thee placed melody
hollowed body filling tunes
gaps bridged, keys that turn
where notes are being trilled

Plucked by the other
found waiting upon storefront shelves
every day new gleams ringing
preparations for concert halls
eighth, quarter, half, these steps
given scale, fill out our whole note

Beautiful and sensuous. I so enjoyed the frequent comparisons to music, it gave the piece a depth of cosmic fluidity and patient rhythm. Thank You Kris:) This is a near and Dear work to me, but I cringe to some of it...it is one I have many times thought of writing a new work based on the idea...I know HOW and what I was trying to say, but at the time not the ability to express it the way I would have liked. I am glad You enjoyed it, it is a straight from the heart-works.
